When your day job is Not something you like! Ever asked yourself if you are living your dream or not? Some of you might agree, while the others might simply not be sure. However, to answer that question, you need to introspect your whole life and figure if this was what you literally want, or aimed for. There are people you mistake their profession as their passion. After all, you have responsibilities and you have to take care of them. This requires sacrifices and pushing yourself into the trail of stereotypes. However, the good news is that you’re exactly aware of what you want to do, and that’s half the battle. You might not be where you want to be, but you can set a right direction and yet carry on with your 9 to 5. What can you do? Approach an organization and contribute your efforts during your extra hours of the day. This can be greatly considered in your resume as well. It might lead to a job offer as well, in the field much more creative and interesting. The feeling You have indulged yourself in the job so much that you have probably lost the fling for your passion. You are getting pulled towards the force of your job and this cannot be retaliated by you. However, you can always look in some surprising places and grab that magic back again. What to do: Look at your job with a fresh mindset. It might not turn out to be as boring as you take it. Look for places that can unwind you while you work and take you closer to your passion. Consider your happiness, beyond that desk and job. And then, you’d realize that you are perfectly content with your job and a positive attitude. Passion is simply what will keep you going and your job will look after your survival.
